I grew up in Oakes, ND, where my love for animals began on my parents' farm. This passion led me to North Dakota State University, where I graduated with honors in 2016, and later to Iowa State University for my veterinary degree in 2020.

My career has taken me to the Florida Keys and Chicago, where I've treated a wide variety of exotic animals, including pelicans, raptors, crocodiles, pythons, frogs, chickens, and exotic mammals. My personal pets include a cat named Faramir, a Mexican black kingsnake, a crested gecko, and mini rex rabbits. Despite such variety, rabbits remain my favorite.

My husband and I met on a mission trip in 2015 and he has been my rock since. We welcomed a baby girl in February 2024. Upon her arrival we decided to move back to North Dakota to be closer to family.

Fun Fact: My husband and I competed in ballroom dance competitions in Chicago! I also enjoy archery, horseback riding, reading, writing, and travel.

I'm passionate about providing exceptional care for exotic animals and integrating holistic approaches like acupuncture and chiropractic treatments for all animals. I'm thrilled to be back in Fargo to share my veterinary passions.
