Interest: Canine and feline behavior, animal rescue

Makena is from Hazel, South Dakota. She shares her home with many pets which include four cats, Gatsby (the 1st born), Machiavelli, Sonny, and Garfunkel. She also has a German Shepherd mix, Eska. Almost all of her pets were rescued from Homeward Animal Shelter! In Makena’s free time, she enjoys reading, going to thrift stores, spending time outdoors with Eska, and listening to true Crime podcasts.

Fun Fact: Back home, Makena lived on a hobby farm. She has 1 miniature donkey, 3 fainting goats, and 1 potbelly pig. She has also fostered 37 pets and “only” foster failed 3 times!
